There You Are explores the history of movement across the local landscape due to immigration during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad in the 1800’s, and the subsequent movement of displaced Native peoples from the site. Layering familiar map-like imagery with imaged landscape-like features, There You Are invites passersby to locate themselves within a landscape both familiar and new.
